Maxine Sizemore, who joined The Lee Group in July 2018, is a Staffing Manager in the firm’s Richmond, Virginia branch.
In her role, Maxine interviews candidates for open positions and helps coordinate with employers.
“When I visit clients I like to tell them we believe in the ‘straight shooter’ approach,” Maxine said. “I like being up front and honest with people. We work hard not to give you a body in a job, but a person in a position.”
Working directly with applicants and employees, Maxine has the opportunity to really get to know people.
“I get a real satisfaction in listening to where they are in their life at the time and finding a job that works for them,” she said.
Companies that hire The Lee Group to staff their positions are often looking “to us to send reliable temps that can grow into full time employees,” Maxine said. “Most of my clients are in manufacturing and production. I have been married into that world for over 35 years and understand how it never stops. So having an agency you can trust is important.”
When she’s not at the office, you can find Maxine working on renovating old houses.
