Answering the question of “when did you join The Lee Group” requires multiple answers for Sheryl Mitchell (formerly Dinger), whose history with the firm is as long as her love for the people in it.

Sheryl started as a temporary employee herself with The Lee Group in 1997, with her first assignment working as a receptionist for a local mortgage company.

After her first eight months on the job, she accepted an opportunity to work directly for The Lee Group as an administrative assistant.

She left The Lee Group for a short time while living out of the area, returned to support the firm and then took some time off with her family.

Sheryl has been with The Lee Group continuously since 2011 and serves as the Payroll Administrator.

Originally from Smithfield, Virginia, Sheryl’s role is vital and includes processing payroll for the employees, processing and emailing invoices to clients, assisting employees with any questions they may have and submitting regular and details reports to clients.

“I hold myself to a higher standard by going beyond what is expected by my boss, co-workers and our employees,” Sheryl said. “I strive to treat our employees like I want to be treated and always keep a sense of urgency to solve or resolve issues for our employees / customers.”

Sheryl is a Certified Staffing Professional and believes her role, no matter what “is to make our clients’ lives easier. That is why we do what we do, no matter your role in the organization.”

When she is not in the office, you can find Sheryl spending time with family.
