As Safety Manager for The Lee Group, Tahnee Thornton carries out a set of duties designed to promote worker safety. She joined the firm in 2015.

In this role, Tahnee arranges site visits and employee training programs, while also handling case management for safety incidents, accidents and injuries. In addition, she performs safety investigations when employees are injured and accompanies employees on related medical appointments.

Tahnee holds multiple Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) credentials from the West Virginia University Extension Service, including OSHA 5410 and 5400 Maritime Instructor certificates, and OSHA 511 and 501 General Industry Instructor certificates. Tahnee also participated in the Industrial Engineering Program at Tidewater Community College and is certified by the American Red Cross as a CPR instructor.

A native of Portland, OR, Tahnee enjoys hiking with her dogs and spending time at the beach or in the pool. Paddle boarding is quickly becoming one of her favorite things to do during the summer.
