Imagine finishing a free, short-term training program on Friday and starting your new job on Monday.

It’s possible.

At The Lee Group, there are ample manufacturing jobs available. As a result, the entire team is thrilled to be part of a pilot program that will provide a pathway for unemployed workers to fill them.

And they can be filled as quickly as was described above.

How?

We’ve partnered with Generation USA to offer a 100% free 4-week in-person Assembly Specialist program.

Following the program participants are guaranteed an interview with Virginia’s top manufacturers with the possibility of full-time employment to follow – pay rate of up to $15/hr dependent on shift, benefits, and vacation/holiday pay.

This rapid training is designed to get you promoted fast and provide you with meaningful resources such as career coaching, life coaching, and overall assistance to ensure your success in the next steps of your career.

This program begins August 2, 2021. Click here to apply now.

“If you’ve been considering a career in manufacturing, but didn’t know the path to get there, this program is for you,” said Sarah Fulton, Vice President of Operations for The Lee Group.

Wondering what an Assembly Specialist does?

An Assembly Specialists performs basic assembly tasks to build products in a high-volume manufacturing environment. As an Assembly Specialist, you review machine operation instructions in order to operate assembly line robots and machinery. You conduct quick visual and tactile quality checks on assembly materials and work completed by teammates upstream and communicate issues with machine malfunction to supervisors and engineers.

Are you comfortable with manual work?

Are you comfortable with structured schedules?

If you answered ‘yes‘ to any of these questions, this program is designed for you.
