Two Businesswoman Having Handshake In Office

The Lee Group, one of the region’s premiere staffing agencies, is hosting an open house in its Chesapeake office from 9 am to 2 pm on Saturday, February 17. The weekend event is designed for maximum convenience, and interested job seekers are encouraged to bring their families.

“We understand that most people have full-time jobs and families to care for, which can make attending a mid-week job fair difficult,” said Sarah Fulton, Chesapeake Branch Manager at The Lee Group. “That’s why our Saturday open house on February 17 will include activities for the whole family, giving job seekers a unique opportunity to see what positions are available without forgoing family time.”

In a relaxed environment, participants can come to the open house to learn about hiring opportunities with the Lee Group. Participants can bring a resume if they desire, and staffing representatives from The Lee Group will schedule interviews with select candidates later.

The Lee Group is looking for all types of job applicants, from clerical to industrial, and from health care to manufacturing. Applicants who have never worked for a staffing agency before are encouraged to attend, have their questions answered, and learn about the many benefits of working with a reputable firm like The Lee Group.

The open house will also include a school supply drive, and The Lee Group will match every notebook, every box of crayons brought in by attendees and their families. The drive will helping teachers across the region build up their supply closets and support students who may need additional supplies.

To RSVP for the open house, please email Nicole at nicole.padgett@theleegroup.com or call (757) 420-8011. Click here for directions to The Lee Group’s Chesapeake office, which is located at 508 Baylor Court, Suite A, Chesapeake, VA 23320.
